How do you photograph weddings?
With a background as a photojournalist I learned early on that authentic moments are most important! After photographing hundreds of weddings we came to realize that Bruce Lee had it right...
"When one has reached maturity in the art, one will have a formless form. It is like ice dissolving in water. when one has no form, one can be all forms; when one has no style, he can fit in with any style."
So you know... we're like Bruce Lee with a camera.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in Gainesville, Florida and choose to cover portraits and events only within a two hour radius to ensure we are rested and ready to craft top quality imagery. It's also nice to be able to come home to my little family after many years of traveling extensively as a photographer.
When will we get our photos?
Portrait session proofs will be ready within two weeks. For Weddings, you will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order albums and retouched prints. Easy-Peasy!
How many pictures will we receive?
For weddings you can expect to receive about 60 images per hour of coverage. Each one is then lovingly color edited by Krystal herself, not outsourced. Additionally she will take your best images and do a little extra digital magic to let you know that these ones deserve a special place in your wedding album and home. All of our collections come with a high-resolution download of your wedding images and a personal use/reproduction release.
Do you offer any discounts?
Do you really want photos that look like they came from the clearance rack? No, of course not. You want to shine like a million suns, Carl Sagan style! So we don't offer discounts, but we do offer Mini-Sessions! A limited number of short sessions are available at different times of each year.
